Welcome to Monkey Puzzle Stafford
Welcome to Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Stafford, located in a residential area, adjacent to two Primary Schools and about one mile south-east from Stafford town centre. The nursery is located just off the A449 Wolverhampton Road, providing access to the M6 Motorway at Junction 13 for those parents who commute. It is a two minute walk from the nearest bus stop and a thirteen minute walk from Stafford Train Station.
Here at Monkey Puzzle Stafford we provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment for your child to discover and learn through play. Our team of dedicated staff are handpicked to ensure all your child’s daily needs are cared for in a warm and caring environment.
We are part of an award-winning nursery group, offering high quality childcare in our specially equipped nursery for children aged three months to five years old.
Our fresh water tropical aquarium is a key feature in the nursery for the Preschool and Baby rooms, which provides a relaxing and calming environment, whilst also providing an enhanced learning experience.
Being able to see clearly is important for a child’s overall development. Most children have excellent sight and do not need to wear glasses, but if there are problems and they are not picked up at an early age, a child may have permanently reduced vision in one or both eyes. We are proud to be able to provide our children with an annual vision screening service by our in-house Optometrist.

Open 7:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) for 51 weeks per year, (closed for the week between Christmas and New Year)
We are happy to arrange a tour of the nursery so that you can personally experience and explore our nursery facilities. This will allow us the opportunity to talk through our daily routines, weekly planning, next steps and our electronic Famly App that we use to keep parents up to date with their child’s progress.

Today was a valuable opportunity to reflect on 2024, outline our priorities for 2025, and set goals aligned with our vision. We engaged in refresher training on legislation, safeguarding, policies, procedures, curriculum, and teaching and learning. We also explored effective communication within teams, focusing on "Unlocking the Zoo Keeper Within!".
